Support to the emerging tidal energy market in the Pentland Firth.
Major Project -Tidal
This is primarily focussed on 3 specific activities:
- Operation – support to day-to-day operational activities required for the efficient operation of the array.
- Maintenance – support to routine and non routine maintenance, repair, major overhaul and replacement of the generators and/or onshore equipment.
- Installation – this is the first installation and commissioning of the machines.
Strategic geographical location of the area to the market
Highlands and Islands Enterprise. Atlantis Resources will of course make the case and establish any business in the area.
CNSRP activity will ensure they get all the help they need to make this a reality.
Scrabster Harbour will deal with all infrastructure.
