Enabling activities
This week I took part in one of the final planning meetings for the 2018 “Jobs and How To Get Them” event, which will be held this year in the new Wick High School from 10am-2pm on Saturday 10th February. The event will again attract 35-40 organisations, and will have staff on hand from supporting agencies. For up to date information on the event see And this week the Scottish Government published the third annual Progress Report on the “Developing the Young Workforce” programme. As previously highlighted here, the DYW programme in the north is – like the Jobs and How To Get Them event – managed by Caithness Chamber of Commerce

The event is an annual multi-agency initiative.
