CNSRP welcomes new investment at Scrabster

Scrabster Harbour Trust has this week signed an agreement with the NorSea Group that it is hoped will lead to “major investment and new job prospects for the local economy.” Welcoming the news CNSRP Chairman Sir Anthony Cleaver said:

“This major announcement gives a fantastic boost to our area’s prospects in the energy sector, and is an endorsement of the forward-thinking strategy adopted by the Board of Scrabster Harbour Trust. For some time now we have been promoting this area to the energy sector as being the right place at the right time with the right people, so it is extremely encouraging to see major investment decisions now coming forward that recognise this. CNSRP partners see Scrabster and Wick Harbours as drivers of economic opportunity for the north, and we look forward to continued positive progress during this year.”
