Weekly Update, 22nd November 2010

• This week’s main focus has been finalising a draft of the delivery programme that describes how the partners will achieve the aims set out in our 2011-2014 Action Plan. In developing this draft programme I have been working with collegues from HIE in particular. The Action Plan will be submitted to the CNSRP Executive Board at its meeting next week, and I hope to have a draft delivery programme available at that meeting.
• I have also been preparing papers for next week’s Executive Board meeting. On the Agenda is a look at what has been achieved during the 2007-2010 Action Plan period, as well as reviewing the projections for the 2011-2014 Plan.
• This week I also met with colleagues from DSRL who are developing a Supply Chain event to be held in December. Myself and Trudy Morris from Caithness Chamber of Commerce fed in comments on the event – we both welcomed it as a very positive chance for local businesses to hear updates on forthcoming opportunities, and also to meet key personnel such as DSRL’s new Head of Commercial department, Joe Kane.
